Workshop Description Jacquilyne Smith is a central Victorian artist who explores the relationships of colour and shape through a process of creative meditation. Drawing from a network of memories, moving above and through the Australian landscape, mapping her personal connection to the spaces she holds close to her heart, Jacquilyne’s art making process is a form of mediation that helps move into the deep sense of peace experienced when immersed in nature. Jacquilyne draws on these memories to create artworks that embody a sense of harmony and beauty and encourage reflection and curiosity.

Come and immerse yourself in her hypnotic exhibition and learn the art of organising paint and shape into beautiful unique artworks. Working with geometric tools like the compass, protractor, rules and set squares, Jacquilyne will take you through her process from the development of ideas, harmonious colour palettes, and painting techniques to get those precise smooth lines. All materials are provided.

It is recommended to bring an apron or art smock to protect your clothes. Each workshop will run for 2 hours.
