Description
CURRENT EXHIBITION From Where I Stand From Where I Stand, brings together three collections of work from local artist Lyn Raymer.
Lyn’s award-winning drawings take us on a journey from bustling, pre-covid, densely-populated public space, through to the uncomfortable reality of a pandemic and how this effects our relationship with public interaction.
These highly detailed drawings are created using a reductive method, with Lyn using erasers to pull and push the figures and forms from darkened backgrounds. Comprised of implied movement and an atmospheric wonder, the resulting images invite the viewer to stand within this unique realm to contemplate the juxtaposed observational perspectives.
From Where I Stand is free to attend and is open daily from 31 August - 6 October.
