Inglewood Motel and Caravan Park (Park) is a 10 acre bush park privately owned and managed by husband and wife team, Pauline and Jerry Wellman. The site includes 8 country style motel rooms, 20 ensuite powered caravan sites, 20 powered sites, as well as space for numerous unpowered sites. The Park is situated approximately 1 kilometer from the town center of Inglewood on the Calder Highway; 40kms west of Bendigo; within walking distance to cafe’s, shops and hotel entertainment; surrounded by State forests; and approximately a 2 hour drive from Melbourne. The town of Inglewood and surrounding area of the Shire of Loddon has a lot to offer tourists and visitors to the area. Whether its perusing the quaint yesteryear main street shops, visiting the boutique wineries in the region, exploring the historic buildings and churches, fishing on the Loddon River, gold prospecting in the “golden triangle”, bird watching in the Inglewood Reserve or four wheel driving in the state forest, there is something of interest for everyone.

Description

The Park currently offers overnight, short-term and long-term stay accommodation in a mix accommodation types for the domestic and international leisure markets from motel rooms to unpowered caravan sites. The current range of accommodation includes: 8 motel rooms (one with disability access); 20 x ensuite caravan sites; 20 x powered sites; numerous unpowered sites. RV’s can also be accommodated throughout the Park. Inglewood Motel and Caravan Park has affordable accommodation suitable for: Retirees - (in particular longer stay shoulder season guests) who are looking for an affordable, safe haven and destination to put down roots for a while with close proximity to the town facilities; young families - who want an affordable holiday option with easy access to free or budget outdoor natural activities; older families - who want an affordable holiday option, with access to the heritage and antique shops, wineries, conservation and fossicking; individuals - looking for a weekend break from the stresses of the fast passed city and corporate world; and business/tradespeople – who want a “home away from home” experience, close to where they will be working several days or weeks at a time.

Note cancellation administration fee may be charged by third party booking company. Cancellations received at any time will incur an administration fee from the Booking Agent of $27.50.

Directions

Driving from the Bendigo/Melbourne/Swanhill area, the motel and caravan park is situated on the west side of the town (drive through the town, over the railway line), on the righthand side of the Calder Highway (A79).

Driving from the Charlton/Mildura area, the motel and caravan park is situated on the lefthand side of the Calder Highway (A79) as you approach the town (first property on the left).
